Sunflower season about to begin!
The sunflowers are slowly opening up in their tens and hundreds but still approx 100,000 left to open so there is some to pick but photographers need wait until probably the middle to end of next week - but the lavender is still very good and there are many still in bud with the flower to follow - so the purple will definitely clash with the yellow!

Sunflowers are almost here!
Later varieties are yet to bloom and the bulk of the field is looking great for another 3 weeks! Will definitely get the sunflower and lavender clash!!!

A magnificent day!
We are still on cloud nine and will be for some time for having been privileged to have met The Queen! For us to have made Her Majesty a lavender bouquet from our fields was honour enough! After asking us about the farms history and showing real interest in what we do, The Queen smiled broadly and told us that they also grow lavender at Sandringham!

It's stopped raining - so if you're close by its free for the time being to go into the fields as due to the recent poor weather some of the lavenders are a bit behind. However there are some rows beginning to blossom nicely! and the shop/restaurant is open!!
Still a few weeks though until the bulk of the crop goes purple!!!!
See you soon
